The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has announced that Strzegom will host the 2027 FEI European Pony Championships. The event will welcome the best young riders from across Europe, who will compete at the Morawa hippodrome in the three Olympic equestrian disciplines: show jumping, dressage and eventing.
This will be the fourth time Strzegom has been trusted by the FEI to organise this prestigious championship. Previous editions have proven that the venue not only meets the highest organisational standards but also creates a unique atmosphere that supports young athletes in taking their first steps on the international stage.
— It’s a great honour and a sign of trust from the international federation. We’re excited to once again welcome Europe’s best young riders. We’ll do everything we can to make this a truly memorable championship – both in terms of sport and organisation, says Marcin Konarski, Event Director.
For years, Strzegom has been one of Europe’s leading venues for equestrian sport. It regularly hosts international competitions, including FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ legs and European Championships in various age categories.
The FEI European Pony Championships is a highly anticipated event that plays a key role in the careers of young riders. The decision to bring it back to Strzegom in 2027 is not only a mark of recognition but also a strong motivation for further development and promotion of equestrian sport in Poland.
The detailed programme and event dates will be announced in the coming months.
